Die Idee hinter „The House of Re:Act“ ist, Künstler aller Richtungen über unsere Radiosendung miteinander zu vereinen und über diese zu informieren. Wir möchten Ihnen wirkliche Talente, die bereits den Weg zu uns gefunden haben und die wir gemeinsam neu entdecken, vorstellen.
Mit Re:Act möchten wir darüber hinaus einen Ort für uns alle schaffen, einen kostenfreien Arbeitsraum für Kunst. Wir möchten Künstler unterstützen, deren Produktion höhere Kosten für sie bedeuten als deren Gewinn aus ihren Werken und einen Arbeitsplatz für viele verschiedene Künstler und alle Kunstsparten erschaffen. Nicht zuletzt soll dies auch ein Platz für alle Kunstinteressierte sein, ein neues Hobby auszuprobieren, neue Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln oder gar eine Kunst zu erlernen, mit der sie sich an einer Universität oder Hochschule bewerben.
Wir vereinen Lehrer, Künstler, Absolventen der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, den Nachwuchs, Menschen mit besonderen Qualitäten und viel – wie wir in Griechenland sagen „Meraki“ – viel Leidenschaft und Liebe für das, was Künstler tun. Denn Künstler zu sein kann auch mal nicht einfach sein und erfordert eine besondere Leidenschaft! Re:Act verbindet die Unternehmenswelt mit der Kunstwelt und gleichzeitig viele Menschen aus verschiedenen Kulturen und verschiedenen Kunstsparten.
Dies läd Sie zu unserer Vision ein, Inspiration und Kreativität zu erwecken, Motivation wiederzufinden – falls Ihr täglicher Arbeitsplatz dies nicht erfüllen kann – und so auch Kunst als Heilungsprozess zu entdecken. Und eines unserer wichtigsten Ziele besteht darin eine Gemeinschaft zu bilden, in der jede Person ihren Teil beiträgt, ihre Leidenschaft entfacht und teilt und so eine starke Community wächst und wächst, in der sich die Menschen auf Augenhöhe begegnen können.
Der Motivation zur Gründung – sowie die Vision – von Re:Act besteht darin, eine der multikulturellsten Communities für Künstler und Kunstinteressierte in Düsseldorf zu schaffen. Wir sind hier in der Düsseldorfer Innenstadt ansässig, um eine starke Gemeinschaft zwischen verschiedenen Kunstgenres und verschiedenen Professionen auch aus der Unternehmenswelt zu schaffen.
In unserer Radioshow “THE HOUSE OF RE:ACT” berichten wir jeden Monat über künstlerische Anliegen, Veranstaltungen und Ausstellungen in Düsseldorf und Umgebung. Wir laden Künstler ein, mit uns live im Radio über ihre Sicht auf die Kunst, ihre Arbeit, ihr Leben als Künstler und vieles mehr zu sprechen und kombinieren dies mit einem umfangreichen Musikprogramm.
1 The purpose of “The House of Re:Act” is to spread the word and to get all artists connected through our radio show. We want to introduce you to real talents – both those we have already found, and those we are yet to discover. We want to create a space for all of us to have our own ‘artist’ workrooms without having to pay for the privilege.
We want to do this firstly for the artists that are paying more for producing their work than they are actually gaining from it, and secondly to have a workplace for all these different artists and different types of art. Last but not least, we want to have a place for anyone who is interested in arts, in trying a new hobby, in learning a new skill or in learning a new art before even applying for it at a university.
We have the teachers, artists and graduates from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. We have the new blood, we have the people with quality, and a lot of, as we say in Greece – “Meraki” – a lot of passion and love for what artists do – because being an artist is not easy. It requires a lot of passion!
2 Re:Act is here to connect the corporate world with the artistic world, and at the same time to connect different artists from different cultures and different genres of art. This presents to you our ultimate perspective on how you can heal yourself through art, how you can keep your creativity growing, how to motivate yourself when even your daily workplace is not motivating you.
And one of our most important goals is how to learn to be a member of a community, to be part of this community, to fight for and work with your community, to share love with your community. We want to be the change for what we really need in order to stay human.
3 The reason for creating Re:Act – and actually the whole purpose of Re:Act – is to create one of the most multicultural communities for artists and art lovers in Düsseldorf. We are based here in the city center of Düsseldorf to create a strong community between different genres of art and different professionals from the corporate world as well.
4 Through our radio shows each month, we will then talk about artistic venues and exhibitions in Düsseldorf and its surrounding area. We will invite the artists to talk with us live on radio about their perspectives on art, their work, their life as artists and much more.
